Safety Policy

KMC Corporation has formulated the following basic policy regarding the safe transportation of passengers by operating vessels in order for its operations to provide reliable services in terms of safety.

Basic policy: Our basic policy is to ensure the safe transportation of passengers through the safe operation of vessels.

Operating vessels: Passenger vessels

Navigation area of operating vessels: Flat water area / limited coastal area

In order to achieve this policy, we have established a safety management system that meets the requirements of the Marine Transportation Act. In implementing safety management, we pay particular attention to the following items, create safety management regulations that meet the requirements stipulated by the Marine Transportation Act, and implement them in accordance with them.

  1. Compliance with relevant laws and internal regulations and the principle of giving top priority to safety
  2. Continuous improvement of safety management system
  3. ormulation of priority safety measures, regular evaluation and review of achievement status
  4. Investigation of the cause of the accident, analysis and prevention of recurrence

I am responsible for the implementation and maintenance of safety management, and all land-based employees involved in operations, those engaged in related operations, and the crew of operating vessels must comply with applicable laws and regulations, as well as this policy. We also promise to carry out flight operations in accordance with safety management regulations.

In operating the safety management system, I appoint a person who has abundant experience and knowledge in the work related to the safe operation of operating vessels as a safety general manager, and supervise the management work to ensure the safety of transportation. And I grant him all responsibility and authority for flight management.

The above is our policy to ensure the safety of transportation.

In addition, we request that all onshore employees involved in the operation and all crew members including the captain fully understand the basic policy and comply with the safety management regulations.
